On this side of the coin, we combine our traditional strengths of understanding construction risk and delivery with the commercial and investment knowledge we have. This allows us to provide developers with services that can help evolve their project and company into an investment proposition that will attract the right type of funder.
Commercialisation
We have assisted a number of energy developers entry into the cleantech sector. Our involvement has varied according to commission but includes: formalising a pipeline for the developer, creating the investment documentation, devising an investment strategy and / or verifying the technology risk.
We also help real estate developers to embrace renewable energy technologies and are able to create structures and propositions that can not only provide a renewable energy plant on site, but also introduces new revenue streams that can improve the viability of a real estate development.
Delivery
Our involvement can and does improve the bankability of a development. We bring best in class people and processes that ensure the construction risk is significantly mitigated. We are able to act a delivery partner for new developers and also assist established developers with introducing new clean technology to real estate developments.
Additionally, we can build the financial business case for the inclusion of renewable technology into a real estate deal. Alternatively we can conduct development appraisals of plant to quantify the senior debt required and to model the best ratio of leverage.
Our fee is often fixed and incentivised based on the performance of the commercial strategy we would have put in place.
